When the MSG Company undertook their $1 billion renovation of  Madison Square Garden, it was mission-critical to find a way to allow the NBA and NHL seasons go on during construction. So, Turner Construction worked with Gil-Bar’s MIH Systems Group as a consultant.

MIH responded by designing a temporary mechanical, fire protection, and electrical service system that allowed both the construction and the games to coincide. That led to further engagement to provide 3D coordination and commissioning assistance for Turner throughout the four-year renovation. In all, MIH consulted for roughly 7,000 hours on the project. And we’re still there today, maintaining the facility’s variable frequency drives.
